Serene Silence

Serene, silent, starry night,

Soothing, still, serene sight,

Silent, soundless, serene light,

Serene silence, serene flight.

Simplicity, serene, soulful feel,

Solemn, silent, silent seal,

Sensuous, serene, surreal reel,

Serene silence, serene steal.

Sensual, serene, silent sound,

Sonic, soothing, silent bound,

Surreal, silent, serene ground,

Serene silence, serene profound.

Serenity, silent, soulful sound,

Silent, subtle, serene surround,

Sublime, silent, serene hound,

Serene silence, serene mound.

This type of Poetry is known as Tautogram poetry; a type of poetry where all the words in each line or stanza start with the same letter. The first letter of each word is called the "key letter" or "initial letter." The key letter is usually repeated throughout the poem to create a cohesive and harmonious effect.
