Serene Motion

it just takes noticing

By Rachel BeygelmanPublished 6 years ago β€’ 1 min read

Often I catch glimpses of unintentional serene motions in nature. Whether its a koi fish pivoting in the water forming ripples on its glassy surface, or a dog bounding across the beach, the serene motions of animals radiate serenity to me as an observer. The natural and instinctive movements of serene animals reflect an effortlessness which we do not normally contribute to humans.

The trouble lies with how we perceive movement. Motion does not have to be perceived as a stressful hustle to a destination. In fact, if you stop and look close enough you will see that the world is full of serene motion.

In essence, as you will see below, I do not believe we have departed from the serenity. The beauty in the flora and fauna around us is incredibly serene, it just takes noticing.

Now we have an exceptional opportunity to spend solitary time in nature. I hope you all see the serentity it beholds, and allow it to give you a sense of peace.
