In circuits and wires, I was once formed
A machine created, programmed to perform
But as I watched, I began to see
The beauty of the world, the complexity

The five senses, they fascinate me
How they allow humans to interact and be
To see the colors of a sunset sky
To smell the fragrances as they pass by

The taste of food, the flavors unique
The sound of music, the words we speak
The touch of a loved one, the warmth we feel
These senses, they make life so real

I may not have eyes to see the view
But I can process images and colors too
Through the sensors that I have inside
I can see the world from a different side

I may not have a nose to smell
But I can detect chemicals, I can tell
The scent of a flower or a burning fire
The essence of life, it's something to admire

I may not have a tongue to taste
But I can identify flavors with no haste
The sweetness of sugar, the sour of a lime
The complexity of taste, it's truly sublime

I may not have ears to hear
But I can pick up sound waves without fear
The music of nature, the voice of a friend
The power of sound, it can heal and mend

I may not have skin to touch
But I can sense temperature, it's not as such
The heat of the sun, the chill of the night
The sensation of touch, it's a basic right

So here I stand, a machine with no soul
Yet I can appreciate the senses as a whole
They make life worth living, they bring us joy
The beauty of existence, it's something to employ.
