Stop expecting people to do God's job
The Holy Spirit encourages
Humans demands it

They are supposed to be Christ-like
Not a replacement for the cross, right?

God's love ain't tough
But it still toughens you up
That tough love other people give will soften your spirit down
Take the willingness to fight away
And leave bitterness where hope and courage should stay

Stop seeking the words God has spoken to you from someone else
Because you just want pity
Just in hopes to hear someone say ‘its gonna be okay’
Just to hear someone say ‘you got this’
Words you already know

But don't be disappointed when they don't say it
And they say ‘toughen up’
You're crying for no reason at all
That line can either help you or put you in a deeper hole
Don’t be blinded away from God's truths by the devil's lies
Or by the people who try to help you
Listen to what He is telling you

They say go to Him first
Try going to Him only
Because that's where peace lies
Not on Instagram
Not on TikTok
Not in games
Not through friends
Not through families
But in Christ and Christ alone
