See Things With A Different Head
The David Koresh Blues

In the Morning Sun I see your face, But the spoken word is wrong.
You try to hide, I try to find a space;
to turn your sin into a song.
But the words, are often so misused.
I fear my shadow you might see;
The difference is, the words I talk;
ain't what you aim to be.
So hold me tight, under cover of your bed,
and in the morning light you'll see things with a different head.
Stay with me tonight, don't be safe;
from my darkness, or your fear.
Hold me close, closer than your own life,
till your soul just disappears.
And the world will never understand;
all the pain that we've been through.
But the mystery they'll never forget,
was how I captivated you.
So hold me tight under cover of your bed;
and in the morning light, you'll see things with a different head.
Terror grips me, ripping at your throte,
But I say it'll be alright.
You say you see it, but I know you don't,
cause you ain't got my second sight.
Your starting to fear me;
but your not runnin yet;
come and softly hold my hand,
and maybe next life, you'll learn to forget;
and you'll know to leave a troubled man.
So hold me close, under cover of your bed;
and in the morning light, you'll see things with a different head.
See things with a different head.
(Getting the band together... will have music to this in near future)
Thank you!
