Up and down, we’re in the game,
Balancing life, never the same.
One second up, then back down—
Who made this thing spin me around?
"Hey, don’t jump!" you shout my way,
"Or I’ll be launched to outer space!"
Gravity's joke, it’s never fair—
One of us always hangs in the air.
So we laugh, scream, and hang on tight,
Two goofballs in flight, left and right.
Life’s just a see-saw, don’t you see?
Up, down, together—just you and me.

I enjoy a good see-saw even now I will get on one with my daughter but I definitely prefer a swing instead. I could swing for hours with my head tilted backwards. The playground of your mind is such a beautiful place, Komal. ✨😊Great job here! 👏
And marriage is a see-saw out of control! LOL! A cool poem! Wish I had read it earlier!
Love how you compared sea-saw to life. Such a beautiful poem ♥︎
This is making me feel things, all good things. I love it so much, it breaths the very essence of childlike adventure. Childlike fun and wonder. I love that you linked this fun activity to life and its ups and downs. I have a big smile on my face, even when I am reading it again. This was ever so lovely, so very well written. I am also impressed at how you kept the rhymes going even with such a topic. I especially love that foresight you had of us laughing at this line ( Or I’ll be launched to outer space!) to then warrant this line ( Gravity's joke, it’s never fair) just amazing!! 🤩
a creative writer with so much insight, well written poem

This has made me remember my days as a child at the park I would run for the see saw Loved reading
It's so beautiful how you have compared see-saw with life and it brings back childhood memories. Life can be compared to many unbalanced objects and the see-saw is a great one of them. Your words are kind and adoring 🤗❤
Mesmerizing! Girl Your poem made me remember of my past childhood days I miss those days!
