The Beauty of Brown

swirling beneath my feet.

A Nereid who dwelled

in the tantalizing sweetness

beckoned me in.

Opening my arms wide

lowering my eyes

to a velvety richness

of that mocha lagoon

I chose to be her sacrifice.

Desirous to kiss her umber lips

be enveloped in deliciousness

sing of truffle stars

twinkling above my head

I sank

into Delirium.
