I crave to dive deep
into that reckless kind of love.
That kind of love where we forget who we are and dance in our newly created memories.
It starts as a quirky summer fling,
But it turns to more than we thought it would ever be.
We kiss in the Fall,
In the leaves in your back yard.
Hold hands next to the crackling Winter fires;
Mistletoe hanging above.
Spring blossoms as the love blossoms.
If we're lucky we won't turn to dust
and become another memory of broken trust.
We’ll try so hard to keep us alive,
My sweet darling, I’m so afraid our love will die.
Hang onto me,
I'll hang on to you.
Hold me tight,
I won't let go.
But once we fight,
I'll lose my grasp.
We're moving too fast.
Falling too fast.
Failing, falling, loving too fast.
