Do you hear my voice when
You hear summer's sweet song?
The blooming flowers whisper syllables
And they start to sound like my name before long.
Do you notice how the playful
Stars wink in the absent sky?
The image flirts with memories
Of our days gone by.
Do you dance in the rain
To the rhythm of falling drops?
The puddles remember my dancing feet
And the clouds look like props.
Do you breathe in the lilies?
Do you recognise me in their fragrance?
But, do you also forget the way the lilies stain?
The scent will fade but the stain acts with resistance.

Writing has always been one of my favourite things to do- from stories to essays to poetry. As I'm starting university in September '17, I thought it would be a good idea to take this opportunity to try and make funding myself easier.
