Searching for happiness

When we are born we begin our life without material things, without ego, and without any status to maintain. We enter the world empty handed, but full of wonder and love.

The key to a happy life is not found in how much money you made or how big your house is, but in the things that you have learned. It is found in helping and loving others, without any need for validation.

Happiness in life cannot be bought but is the only thing of true value. We must live life for today, and not dwell on what yesterday has taken away.

Learn that true beauty is not found on the outside, but rather is something that is found inside the heart and soul. Happiness in life is acknowledging that we all make mistakes, but understanding the power of compassion, and learning to forgive-especially ourselves.

As we reach the end of our life journey, may we all be able to leave as we have come- empty handed. The key to leaving this life is to leave with a full heart instead. Full of experiences, memories, and love.

That is my understanding of true happiness in life. May we leave a lasting impression on others not by the material things that we leave behind, but rather in our ability to teach, love and value those that we share this life journey.
