Scrolling
Defense and destruction
By Kenneth cruzPublished 2 years ago • Updated 2 years ago • 1 min read

Scrolling has become my defense
A reflex
A mechanism
Then In a swipe I find a package of isolation and protection
I scroll for answers the algorithm always knows
With each swipe offering solutions to my woes
Scrolling changed my life
So I swipe and scroll more than anyone knows
Morning and night minutes melt away and hours fade into a new day
I miss the moments lost but this brain of mine has no other way to unwind
So I scroll to free my mind and pass time
I scroll seeking perfection
Instead it leads to dissatisfaction like some putrid infection
Self destruction found in seeing what I lack
Everyday I want more and cut myself no slack
Scrolling has turned my world dark and black
