Screw Romantic

Sinister Girl

By Nick QueenPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

Beat for beat

Swaying

Separately

Then together

You needed to know me

“Men are such creeps”

Hours of dancing

Your arms around my neck

A smile

Wordless whisper

"Kiss me"

Oh Sinister Girl

Your gentle press left

Craving your sweet mint

You made the club feel empty

The music so close yet so far

You and I against the wall

Dancing

Kissing

Hands tangled in hair

Your latex dress grasped in hand

Our moment a perfect memory

Preserved

With forced anonymity.

It was more romantic

No contact after.

Haunted by your phantom taste

Oh Sinister Girl

In this moment

Screw Romantic

I’d rather know Your name
