Scream your Opinion

They must be forced to hear

By Mark Stigers Published 9 months ago 1 min read

Scream Your Opinion

Do you have an opinion

About something you believe?

How do you get it out there—

Ensure it’s truly received?

If your point is rejected,

Then they don’t understand.

It is oh so important

They hear your demand.

Are there people who are dying?

Is there waste of human life?

Sometimes you must upset the cart

To call out all that strife.

Can you go too far?

Is there a line not to cross?

When you scream out your thoughts,

You might just turn people off.

What is the effective way

To shift public perception?

They must be persuaded—

Even through some disruption.

All’s fair in love and war.

Do you want to save the day?

Is it okay to get in their face

To show the error of their way?

So scream if you must,

But weigh each word you say.

For truth that burns too brightly

Can still drive hearts away.
