Scent of a Memory

Scent of Childhood

A gentle hint of lavender, tender and sweet, transports me to childhood memories.

In the streets of summer, warmth enveloped each day, laughter echoing into the night.

Cinnamon and cloves, holiday cheer in Mom's bustling kitchen, loved ones gathered near.

Love woven into every bite, a comforting hearth on winter nights.

The ocean's salty embrace, a kiss of pure bliss, sunlit waves beckoning.

Shells and sand beneath my toes, a paradise of childhood, where freedom dances.
