🌅 Scenes of Dawn

Whispers of the Dawn

By Farhan UllahPublished 9 months ago • 1 min read

Is it the soul's delight, the radiance of dawn’s face?

Kashmir is the heart, a paradise for every gaze.

Each flower’s face is drenched in beauty’s glow,

In everything, there’s meaning; in every form, a flow.

In every direction, the spirit of a maiden from heaven sings,

In each humble speck, the fire of Sinai clings.

The trembling of stars, the sparkle of dust aglow,

The flowing of those eyes, where admiration tends to grow.

The clash of light and dark upon the skies above,

The storm of radiance, the surge of songs we love.

Those rising tresses, like the morning breeze set free —

Are they scattered on shoulders, or wings from a reverie?

The scattering of fragrance, the bursting of buds,

The gentle moonlight, the glimmer of ocean floods.

The scented sparkle of stars resting in shade,

The swaying of meadows, the fields in a rhythmic parade.

Branches entwining with branches in grace —

Such magic, they say, comes with the dawn breeze’s embrace:

"It feels like Eid morning has touched this place."

That divine light within the soul, that truthful dawn’s rise,

That beauty which enchants each longing pair of eyes.

That purity — a reflection of mankind’s truest nature,

Particles and horizons aglow with sacred stature.

The song of David (A.S.) in the birds' harmonious call,

The beauty of Joseph’s (A.S.) robe — its effect felt in all air and all.

That tender petal of a fresh-blossomed rose,

The softness of dew in its gentle repose.

A smile born of beauty, yet grounded in truth,

A vision of idols — the grace that adorns the booth.

The ascetic’s gaze, the cruel one's charm side by side,

Echoes in bells where sorrow and longing reside.

And voices immersed in hymns of praise,

Merging with the call to prayer that forever stays.
