Interaction with my twin nieces today brought to mind the subject of apathy.

I am not only an aunt, but their English teacher as well. Teens often fall victim to apathy. Gathering information about homework can prove a little challenging, oftentimes with delayed responses. We all know that the teen years involves some apathy and disconnect.

The girls, bless their hearts, are as prompt as possible. But apathy and emotional disconnect are present, and they do need friendly reminders occasionally.

How do we break free of apathy? He connects with his feelings, seeks variety and does a little self-reflection. Developing a sense of curiosity will bring those disconnected puzzle pieces together as well.

Enjoy these verses.
