Saying I Love You Is Never Enough
I Don't Need Words To Prove My Love
By Carol Ann TownendPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
I could tell you that I love you a million times a day,
And twenty-trillion times a night,
I could create a beautiful melody,
And scream those songs out loud,
I could shout it through a megaphone,
Or shriek it from a roof-top,
I could whisper sweet nothings in your ear,
And get down on my knees to prove it;
But,
Saying "I love you" is never enough,
To show you how much I do,
When I look into your lovely eyes,
My heart melts like sugar,
I don't need words to prove I love you;
I just need my caring heart,
My warm kiss,
And to hold your hand,
Only then have I said enough.
