Save Resources and Energy

In our world of hustle and bustle,

We often forget to stop and rustle,

The leaves on trees, the wind that blows,

And just appreciate the world that grows.

We consume and use without a thought,

Resources and energy we've endlessly sought,

But do we really need all that we take?

Perhaps it's time that we awake.

Let's save resources and energy too,

For sustainability and a future anew,

Turn off the lights when they're not in use,

And carpool more, it's not much of an excuse.

Take shorter showers, and fix your leaks,

Reuse what you can, it's what our planet seeks,

Recycle, compost, reduce waste,

And soon enough, we'll create a better place.

It's up to us, to make a change,

To be mindful and not act so strange,

Save resources and energy every day,

And together we'll pave a better way.
