Saudade

There goes my heart beating rapidly again

Going through phase, whilst controlling it's own ache

Trying to recondition itself to this familiar feeling

Something that isn't going away anytime soon

I am not one to write love poems or listen to love songs

I write how I feel, mostly sad but emotions that are really strong

If I were to write about how I feel about you

I think it might go something like this

When my eyes locks in and sees you

It sends signals, both alarming and beautiful signals

My cheek muscles contract, an uncontrollable smile comes through

Cheeky smile while thinking about you

Breathing becomes difficult when I see you, from an old photo or in person

First time, I met you I almost ran out of breath

Whilst mentally naming the kids we would bare

Holding your hands gives me the shivers, to the tips of my feet

I thought i wasn't strong enough till i had to fight for this love

Like fighting for air in a deep blue ocean

Loving you is so damn easy and so hard at the same time

I see you, then my legs won't move, staring at a beautiful work of art

So easy to get lost in your eyes when I stare at them

Distracted by the movement of your lips when you talk

Entranced by your voice when you speak

Walking like a Queen who really knows her worth

Sometimes i wish to meet you again for the first time

But then it is the same feeling i get after seeing you 1000 times

A slight "wow" as my eyes widen

Followed by a " damn you're hot" out loud for the world to hear

That's the feeling I got with you

That's how you made me feel

You really set a high bar

You showed me I was capable of being loved,genuinely

In another universe I hope we have the ending we deserved

I hope we get the family we mapped out for ourselves

I hope we build kingdoms and raised princes and princesses

I hope we put the Big Guy in middle of our garden.
