Sami’s School Life
Photo by Aaron Burden on Unsplash

In the quiet lane, where the school bell rang,

Laughter and footsteps together sang.

Sami walked with a bag so wide,

Dreams and doodles tucked inside.

The blackboard chalk, the teacher’s call,

Friends who waited near the hall.

Tiffin shared and secrets told,

Moments now like threads of gold.

Rainy days and muddy shoes,

Lost pencils, and morning news.

A smile from a friend, a playful fight,

Games that went on till fading light.

Last benches, giggles in class,

Drawing on desks that time can't surpass.

The final bell, the goodbye glance,

Sami still hopes for one more chance.

To run those fields, to laugh once more,

To open that same creaky door.

Though years may pass, the heart holds tight,

Sami’s school life still feels right.
