I hope you find a story worth telling,
one that I won't be expecting,
and one you haven't already told me with different side characters helping you fill your cup.
I hope it's successful
and not another one month obsession that you tell me about
and I lose track of who's who and who you are.
Hyper-fixate on fixing yourself
not breaking apart souls who only meant well and thought they could mend you.
You crave happily ever after
yet you are your own villain preventing all from happening,
whilst blaming Prince Charming over and over again.
When you find that story,
that's when I'll read it.
Until then I know what to expect,
just the same old story
all with the same ending.

Getting Serious About Comedy (Part I)
If I were asked to remark on my life and the childhood that paved some road leading me to this point, I would have to say something about all the funny people who surrounded me for the last 26,872 days (and counting). Somewhere along that road, I became a big fan of laughter and the comedy that spawns it – and, I mean not only my own laughter, but the laughter of others, some of which I have actually been responsible for inducing.
