cursed to be a sinner since young
led by stars, nightlights leading the way out of daylight misery
Wandering lost between dark tree trunks, shadows, overhanging limbs across the path
accompanied by wolves drooping tongues from jaws as we hide and seek
Each one whom life negated I summoned and called
from dusk till dawn, win-lose mindset, but as we drawled
my heart lost its worth, time lost its gravity, and i was stuck in cavity
much for a modern life, hated on the player, not the game
a downfall, a moment of realization
a light came out of that long dark tunnel
a voice called for redemption
a hand guided salvation, roots of glory and faith
peace and serenity.
