Feelings tossed on the waves
like a sailboat on an ocean
Her heart, the sails
pulling taut or letting go
in a symphony of emotions
Her mind, the helm giving
direction to her vessel
Her soul, the bright stars
joining the moon in guiding her
to the place that she is drawn to
The Spirit, the anchor
steadying her on rough seas
and then rising to make her
sails become mighty wings
to reach her destination.
To the place she has seen
where hopes have form
and dreams welcome her
with open arms.
