Sad playlist

i will never forget the nights i spent like this

lying in bed, listening to a sad playlist

i ask the universe to guide me

please heal the brokenness inside of me

these are supposed to be the years of my life, ever

but i am just constantly waiting for good things, it feels like forever

no longer does anything make sense

the one i want, tells me he is seeing someone else

so here i am left with the same outcome

feeling sad and numb

from making that mistake

and ruining something great

i tell him i just want us to be together

but he doesn’t hear me, he has found someone better
