Silent tears fall like rain,

As I stand alone in the pain,

Memories flood my shattered heart,

As I watch us fall apart.

A love that was once so bright,

Now fades into the darkest night,

The promises we made, all but gone,

As we stand here, broken and alone.

The words we spoke, so full of hope,

Now sound like echoes on a lonely slope,

The dreams we shared, no longer there,

As we drift apart, beyond repair.

The silence between us, so heavy to bear,

As we realize, love was never enough to share,

The emptiness within, now so clear,

As we say goodbye, to all that we held dear.
