sad girl hours
isolation never looked better

sad girl hours.
isolation never
looked better on me,
especially after the
night’s tender air turns
cool and quiet and
everyone sleeps.

amazing poem
It feels like you can read this in both a positive and negative light, and it would be interesting to see which way you pictured it when you wrote it Sam. The absence of other people in "everyone sleeps" feels lonely, but it can be freeing to be awake and on your own too. Food for thought:)
Congratulations on Top Story; you are s fabulous writer.
So chilling and gorgeously written.
Lovely and haunting acrostic poem. Well done.
Wonderfully written. I didn't even realize this was an acrostic until the end! Congrats on the Top Story!
This feels very very lonely.
Congratulations on this well deserved top story
Incredible poem!
I loved the mood of this, Sam. Gentle and quiet.
