I don’t want to be sad anymore

Please, love, come home to me.

I don’t want to be alone anymore.

Please, love, get yourself free.

*

Forgive me for being selfish -

You’re facing issues of your own.

But right now, I am all I’ve got -

Everything feels overblown.

*

I miss our hugs, our intimacy.

I miss our conversations.

I miss the chance to pick apart

Each other’s new creations.

*

I don’t want to be sad anymore

Please, love, come home to me.

I don’t want to be alone anymore.

Please, love, get yourself free.

*

Come home soon, I beg you, love.

I miss you to the bone.

I cannot wait to have you back.

I’m sad and so alone.
