s-p-l.i.n-t-e.r.ed cells

crack/ed shells

incandescent

delight

iridescent

fright

harder

than you think

always

on the Brink

beholden

myself down

bit-ter

coffee grounds

fight

for

one

more

oxygen healing s.o.r.e.s

something's

always

waiting

anyways

put the past in past

rearmirror

won't last

forget all the doubt

fight

another bout

I'm getting an always on the edge vibe from this. Not sure that's what you were going for. I also like for formatting/highlighting of certain. Well done, Buddy

Yes. We keep on keepin' on. Well writ and formatted, my friend!

The formatting was a very cool stylistic choice that amplified the tone! Especially those first two lines, very eye catching!

  • Like how the formatting adds to this :-D xx

  • I live in the past, Sir Paul. I can't put it in the past because then I'd not exist in the present. Lol, just ignore me. Loved your poem!

  • It's not how often you get knocked down but how many times you get back up. Ready for another round?

This has a similar rap-like energy as the last. I love the rhyme scheme too. Very effective and punchy. Really fine work, Paul!

Always on the brink. How we long for a state of dull daily ease!

  • Nice!
