Acrostic Poem Challenge
Scantily dressed from head to toe, the only thing I feel is numbness...
Innocence Stolen, Identity Stolen, Illegally snatched from my home
Language barriers keep me from getting the help I need, but if they understood, would they even be willing to help me?
Empathy spirals from the very depths of my being, for those captured much younger than me
Never to be seen again by those they love
Currency driven markets rarely concern themselves with morality, objectification soothes many a conscience
Escaping is out of the question.... We've been told we never will leave

Realistically relevant. I love how your poem gives voice to survivors. The second line is an outstanding example of alternating alliteration: "Innocence Stolen, Identity Stolen, Illegally snatched from my home".
