Runaway Love

December 6,2024

By Cai FoxPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

Let’s pack the car with dreams and maps,

Forget the clocks and all the traps.

The world will be our open page,

A rolling journey, stage by stage.

We’ll drive through valleys, windswept plains,

Let the road wash away old pains.

With every mile, our hearts will mend,

Each bend a promise, each sunrise a friend.

We’ll find a place to rest our heads,

A borrowed room, a borrowed bed.

When morning comes, we’ll rise once more,

Healing with each mile we explore.

And when we land where time feels slow,

Where our souls feel whole, and love can grow,

We’ll linger there, breathe deep, feel free,

Until the road whispers its plea.

For when the time is right, we’ll know,

The world will tell us where to go.

No rush, no race—just you and I,

Two hearts aligned beneath the sky.

So let’s promise now, with hands entwined,

To one day leave it all behind.

To run away, to heal, to roam,

And make the journey our forever home.
