Ruach

"Breath, Wind, Spirit"

By Colleen WaltersPublished 9 months ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read
My view

The grass green

and cool on

the back

of my warm

neck

I close my eyes

the breeze

of you

flows

over me

My veins dilate

at the sound of your

silence

the vibration

tells me that

you are here

over me

in me

split me

split my tears

into torrents

in the parched

desert

split my sorrows

into sunlight

in deep

darkness

split my cries

into clouds

sheltered

shade

split my pain

into parasols

thousands

twirling

meet me

at midnight

here

in my mind

wrap your self

around me

and let me

feel your

breath

across

my quivered

soul.

He is our Comforter and Helper. Thank God for His wonderful Ruach. May He strengthen you and lift you up. ❤️

Well-wrought! May the winds always bear us up, at least until we find a safe place to land!

I had to look up "Ruach". I guessed it was spiritual but you know, without context, this reads a little erotically too, which was probably not your intention. But I felt the love.
