Royal Voices
Palace Games With Sharon And Cathy

Ingrit started sifting through the pages
Like a colander of flour
The ventriloquist taught skills of mages
Sharing in detail, secret powers
She began throwing her voice around
in each room of the house
Finessing volumes, soft and loud
Practicing lip syncing on a mouse
The rooms with vaulted ceilings
Were the hardest to get used to
It echoed with high pitched squealing
Like Robin Hood in tights, review
The king, confused and hearing voices
Called for the princess to assist him
The sorcerers plan to destroy us
Our future’s looking rather grim
Ingrit grinned, pleased with her antics
Egged her father’s fears along
The thought of making his world manic
Made her glad, though it was wrong
The latest nanny tried to tame her
But Ingrit locked her in the tapestry
Buried in a mound of words
Throwing her voice at her, so dastardly
As she skipped off, down the road
She heard a voice that stopped her in her tracks
There sat a blue eyed, speckled toad
Skillfully throwing her voice back….

Oops! Using her newfound skills the wrong way! Catching up with the other parts!
A wonderful second installment! Great work, Kelli!
Well-wrought! I was especially tickled by the vision of the little mouse. Poor fellow didn't know what to think, I'm sure!
Oooo, I wonder what that toad would do hehehehe
Gosh gosh! How perfect. 😂 I said to Sharon, a royal masterpiece.
This story's got some wild twists! Reminds me of when I had to debug a complex system. Figuring out Ingrit's tricks would be just as challenging!
She really probably ought to kiss it, don't you think?
This is wonderful, Kel. I got some idea where to go....sorta. lol
This is going to be good ;)
