Rosemary-Coconut Oil

The herbal oil is calming

By Seema PatelPublished a day ago 1 min read
Rosemary sprigs @Seema

Abundant rosemary hedges

grow in my neighborhood.

Resins in them have strong fragrance

that I can’t resist crushing a sprig

and inhaling, during my walks.

I read somewhere

that it's nature's morphine.

One day on social media

I read that rosemary infused oil

nourishes the hair.

Who does not want that?

So, I picked a bunch,

simmered with coconut oil,

Filtered and kept in a jar.

It smelled lovely, therapeutic

my kids and I used

the calming oil in our hair

with joy, until it finished.

I made another batch

of rosemary–coconut oil today.

There is such joy

in preparing something for yourself

with foraged materials.

Note: Have you tried rosemary-infused coconut oil?

I totally agree rosemary does smell so good no matter what you make with it and I have heard that about rosemary and coconut oil. Good job.
