I pass by these water slides,

They remind me of my ex,

Slippery, vile, loving,

With a taste of class,

Though when I see them,

They make me want to cry,

In accrued pain,

For myself, and the haunting memory of what she has become,

Almost as if a rainbow has graced us all,

Ravishing a bygone era of random chaos,

Caressing the plastic bubble around my heart,

Timing what I thought would be a life-long adventure,

Turned out that the severed strings would stay attached,

At the bottom of the waterfall,

For the rest of the coming season,

And attractions.
