I’ve never felt debilitated as i am now.
Confined in a collapsing building,
I have these bruises and I scream.
____
Expecting to breathe my last,
But death is out of sight.
___
So I stay on that spot,
Watching everything crash to the ground,
The building residue surrounds me,
And I can’t find a way out,
I put up a fight,
But these rocks, they push me down and I am covered with fright.
I’ve given up trying to find the light.
____
So I stand waiting for that one rock,
That will finally knock me to the ground,
And my strength fails that I am unable to rise again.

Full of wonderful emotion and this is highly relatable!
That's a wonderful✨! Your words vividly capture the experience of feeling trapped, physically and emotionally overwhelmed, and resigned to an inevitable collapse. There’s a heavy sense of isolation and futility throughout!
I’ve been here, and this poem, while very relatable, is also very well-written and full of emotion. Great work!
