Letting go of our favourite norms or habits is one of life's most challenging hurdles. Blame this on our unwillingness to leave our comfort zones.

However, we must to move ahead, or find new areas of growth.

The little bird shows why we must let go with trust, adaptability, and a little foresight.

Red Robin

Red form tiny

Small worm wriggling in beak

Bird's little claws stuck on a branch

Heavy

To leap

Beak's pinch release

Weight in oral chambers

Food treasure needed yet binding

Heavy

To fly

Little bird hops

Branch to branch, unweathered

Eyes search for green grass young, untouched

Spreads wings

To move

Small bird's heart beats

Well-timed with all others

Ready, know life's destination

Attuned

To grow

Robin red breast

Beak drops light weight in beak

Better prize, round, lined, heavier

Puffs up.
