Turns out, a haiku I wrote in fourth grade for the Young Authors Contest was not only a winning entry—it was early foreshadowing of a writer. I must say, I’m impressed with 9 year old mini me ❤️.

Rivers

The river flows so

Softly when the sun comes out

To show it the way.
