Rhyme Wars

The hardest thing about writing poetry . My struggle with rhyme

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago 1 min read

One day the rhyme escaped

From an old poem

So why did I chase it?

Did an idea cross my mind?

It brought my imagination

And awakened scattered feelings

And erased my identity

And I screamed in the night

Between the iron bars

My loud scream froze

And my personality shattered

With a cheerful laugh

And my autobiography in infinity

Broken

Which rhyme

I will compose to become in my heart crying?

A tear came out of a miserable eye

What is left of its fatigue

And no letters like a little panting puppy?

It's one ticket

For successive trips

The anchored ships carry me

In calm seas

In a procession I feel myself

In a sleeping dream

Swimming with the fishes with reconciled joy

That my crisis will be idle

And that the clear clouds

Will grant me elegant grace

In permanent trips

I visited the worlds of mocking nature

Discovered in them frozen features

The silent letters silenced me

And a wounded tear withered

So I forgot that I became a conqueror because of its concern

I have always been interested in poetry and essay, especially rhyme style, so I decided to post my essay here and see if I have any talent in poetry or not.
