Revering Reverend MLK Day

By referring to him as a doctor, society tricks us into thinking he was an actual medical doctor, as well as a historical leader, with great speeches. But he was a doctor in ministry, and a man of God, trying to save our eternal souls...

~Happy Mlk day! But is it today, or tomorrow?

His birthday, is not the Holiday. They made it tricky to follow.

~Was he a doctor? Yes, but ministry was his profession.

Then why not call him a reverend? Therein is the lesson.

~A reverend means Holy, anointed, and Blessed.

A doctor means smart, important, nicely dressed.

~You listen to a doctor because it's a wise thing to do.

You listen to a reverend, because your heart feels it's true.

~Listening to a doctor's optional. It's kind of your decision.

Listening to a minister goes deeper, it questions your holy mission.

~The King, had a dream of dreams!

A vision for the world to be equal.

~He brought people together with truth and sincerity.

It is past time for a sequel.

~Nowadays, we worry about vaccines, and getting covid.

~Yet it is these exact same things keeping us separate, and divided.

--------------------------------

~We must come together as a nation, to combat inflation.

Domination, cannot exist!

~We need carnations, not ammunition!

We need flowers, not fists!

--------------------------------

~Echoes of war are all around us. Wars happening, even as we speak!

There must be a peaceful solution. This is my prayer, each and every week.

~If Martin Luther King, were alive today, I wonder what he would do? He'd

probably say, "A peaceful march today? Ok! I will march with you!"

~It's his approach that really mattered, just as much as who he was.

If your approach is honest and peaceful? Sound the trumpets! Create a buzz!

~Remember him for who he was! A man with ambitions, that had no end!

A man that cared for our eternal souls. A doctor of Ministry! A Reverend!
