Rest

You won’t let me

dark raven

Why won’t your dark claws let

Me go?

Why can’t you just let me be

Dark raven please

I am sorry I am not good enough

You say I am

But I know I am not

You don’t tell me what you think

Not sure what you want from me anymore

I think you hate me

Dark raven

Dark haven

Dark wooded eyes

They tell me you’re mine

But it’s not true

You don’t love me

You love “you”

You only keep me so close

So you can have a net

Of safety

But I cannot rest

I cannot ever breathe

Dark raven,

I sometimes feel like I’m dying

When you sit

So

Close

Next to me.
