Resilience in Silence

Echoes of Unanswered Texts

In the quiet of my room, my phone lies still,

A silent sentinel, keeper of unspoken words.

I reach for it, hope flickering like a candle,

But the screen remains dark, a mirror of my doubts.

Days pass, marked by the absence of your voice,

Each moment a reminder of what could have been

Yet in this void, I find an unexpected strength,

A resolve born from ashes of disappointment.

The world outside my window keeps turning,

Lives upended by sudden changes at work.

In this uncertainty, I find a strange comfort,

A reminder that nothing is truly permanent.

So I stand tall, amidst the quiet and the chaos,

My worth not measured by messages received.

In the garden of my heart, I plant new seeds,

Nurtured by self-love and watered with patience.

For in this silence, I've found my own voice,

Strong and clear, echoing with newfound grace.

Though disappointment may knock at my door,

I am a the keeper of my own happiness, forevermore.
