Renegades Lay Down Your Arms

Or the pistol is poison many years from now

Renegades drop your arms

That's a call

No torment face a fall

No after-thought hold a curtain

There are bigger soldiers in life

Redirect to peace and please thyself

Or the new pistol of society is the poison of mirth

Know a moment's warmth

Renegades lay down your arms

In peace

Because I want that more than anything right now

More than taste and there is no bargain with hunger

Lay them down

When the hostage leaves will be time to hear again

Memory is an afterthought

Yet none are meeting

Men of matters more, bright and steady

Pleased at

New found flutters

That light thy palms

Now meet the winds

~/\~

This poem is about the renegades of living. Those on destructive paths bring hatred to society's wounds. For those who destroy a life for their own selfish reasoning and to the fallen at their hands, all soldiers in life, God has bigger plans.

Dear Lisa ~ Marvelous stories/and drop downs. *I've subscribed to you; with pleasure. Although I'm not the least bit interested in rewards/or challenges, your topic piqued my interest ~ 'Pick your Battles' ~ By chance, I gladly discovered you when I read your comment on TrustPilot. Coincidentally, I wrote a very similar reply on July 22nd. Jay Kantor, Chatsworth, California 'Senior' Vocal Author - Vocal Author Community -
