Reminiscent Regrets
Day 26/365
By Ellie HoovsPublished 12 months ago • Updated 12 months ago • 1 min read

I would be remiss
if I didn’t admit
that I often reminisce
over my collection
of wrong place trophies
but I don’t regret
the things I’ll never forget
those times are like we never met
I’ll always choose the least traveled path
even if it means I’m lonely
You can blame me
and try to shame me
but you’ll never cage me
i’m flying free
reminiscent regrets are for the dead
and I am freely living
