I call you when I need to feel bad.
The sharp point of the needle on my thick skin,
reminds me of how your existence used to bleed me dry.
I call you when I need to know my flaws exist.
The way the coffee always burns my tongue every morning,
reminds me of how I was never the type to learn my lesson.
I call you when I need to be reckless.
The freedom you get when you don't care,
reminds me of how I always tried to ride your motorcycle blindfolded.
