Reflections of Us
Embracing Fear, Love, and the Self

What if we embraced all our fears
All our disagreements
All the parts of ourselves we dislike
And of others too, because after all, they are just reflections of us
There is no me without the other
There is no loving someone without loving yourself too
Because allowing yourself to love is an act of self-love
There’s no hurting someone without hurting yourself
Because there is no true happiness when you choose to harm
When we shiver in anger, in pain
There is no space to resonate peace and love

Currently on my postdoc, I've been studying Chemistry over 13 years, but the only thing that kept me going was journaling my feelings, writing poems and drawing on my notebooks. Now, I finally decide to share a bit here. Hope you enjoy :)
