Rediscovering the Colors of Me

A Poetic Journey of Self-Reflection

By Paula RPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the mirror's gaze, a ghost I see,

Of the old me, once wild and free.

Bubbly laughter, heart aglow,

Believed in love, like rivers flow.

But time has passed, and shadows fall,

Lost in the maze, I hear the call.

To find myself, to rediscover,

The colors lost, to reignite the fervor.

So I'll search within, and I'll search without,

For the old me, I'll not live without.

With hope renewed and spirits high,

I'll paint my life, beneath the sky.

For in the journey, I'll find my truth,

And reclaim the fire of my youth.

With every step, I'll dance and sing,

Embracing life, in every fling.

Life - I love you and thank you for staying strong.
