When you see a red flag

what thought into your head pops?

I'm here to clarify that

they could mean, danger or stop

Whether nature or behavior

it warns of trouble ahead

No sense in being an enabler

here's a tip for you instead

***

Beware the red flags on the beach

signaling hazards and rip tides

And it's important to preach

don't take any crap, from one of those guys

The ones that talk a good game

with the intention of a player

But, of course, they're never to blame

their complex convincing them, they're your savior

****

Just tip your hat to the wind

for blowing and waving true colors

Then get out and try love again

cause experience teaches the suckers

Good one, Kelli. I wonder who was the first person to associate red with danger, and why not black or purple? What did they have against red? 😉😉
