It’s lonely now; its shadow seems so dark.
Before, I didn’t know the light beyond,
Until, with you, I foolishly destroyed
The wall I’d built between the world and me
The time we spent together had increased;
I thought that we were growing closer too.
Small things began reminding me of you,
Yet I remain still distant from your mind.
It’s not your fault, you never wanted me
To wreck my wall, to cross through it to you.
I broke myself, too, crashing through that wall
Still unaware, you haven’t noticed yet
Me sitting broken, wreckage all around,
Alone, I start to reconstruct my wall.
