Well hello Summer, chill a spell
As last year you were hot as hell
Been waiting for your longer days
So we can play in outdoor ways
There’s barbeques and volleyball
And countless things to please us all
It's into shorts and no more sleeves
‘Til you give way to falling leaves
Now hey there Autumn, grab a chair
It won’t be long ‘til limbs are bare
You colorize our many trees
While sending us a cooler breeze
The falling temps are here to warn
It’s first semester, students mourn
You hasten now the setting sun
By Labor Day your almost done
Hey freezing Winter, glad you’re here
When spring arrives you’ll disappear
Please cap our mountains under snow
So when it melts our rivers flow
The nights are long, the days are short
You’re vital for the ski resort
You open up with Christmas cheer
Then usher in a brand new year
So what’s up Spring, we’re setting sails
Your warm winds bring refreshing gales
And since you represent new life
You also mitigate our strife
Thunderstorms and steady showers
Dress our fields in brilliant flowers
You're almost perfect, things are green
Not hot or cold, just in between
