Reason for Sanity
It melts the ice and starts a small flame.

The good things that give me hope for the untold.
It comforts me when the world has no knowledge of the word humbled.
What gives confidence when so many flaws cause my life to be fumbled.
It's what holds my bones together when I feel that they have already crumbled.
The thing that reminds me of the possibilities that are mine to keep.
It breathes air into my lungs and starts my heart to beat.
What wakes me when I am about to fall into a permanent sleep.
It's how I'm able to come back to surface when I'm in deep.
The reason I smile when life is a complete pain.
It melts the ice and starts a small flame.
What brings a light drizzle from a heavy rain.
It's what keeps me sane.
